1. Scope
These Terms and Conditions of Sale ("T&Cs") govern the contractual relationship between Isabelle Mellah (the "Publisher") and any individual or legal entity (the "Customer") making a purchase via the online shop or registering for a course, workshop or session offered on the site.
Any order or registration implies full and unreserved acceptance of these T&Cs.
2. Products and services
- Shop: original artworks, art prints, books, sketchbooks, materials and accessories.
- Courses, workshops and sessions: educational services delivered in person or remotely.
The essential characteristics (description, price, availability) are indicated on each product or session page.
3. Prices
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included. The applicable VAT is that in force on the day of the order. Delivery costs are specified before final payment confirmation.
4. Order and payment
Payment is due immediately upon ordering. Where online payment is offered, it is processed by a PCI-DSS certified provider: Stripe or PayPal. No banking data is retained by the Publisher.
To date, no online payment is open on the site: orders and registrations are settled directly with the studio, in accordance with the terms stated when the request is made. Every order gives rise to a confirmation email sent to the Customer.
5. Delivery (shop)
Delivery times and costs are shown in the order summary. The risk of loss or damage is transferred to the Customer upon physical possession of the item.
6. Registration for courses and workshops
Registration is confirmed after full payment or payment of a deposit according to the conditions specified on the session page. Cancellation and rescheduling conditions are stated case by case.
7. Right of withdrawal
7.1 Principle
In accordance with articles L221-18 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, the consumer Customer has a period of 14 days from receipt of the goods (or from the conclusion of the contract for services) to exercise their right of withdrawal, without having to state any reason.
7.2 Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply, in particular:
- to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised (bespoke commission, portrait, caricature);
- to services fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period, with the Customer's prior express agreement and waiver of this right;
- to digital content supplied without a physical medium.
7.3 Exercising the right
The Customer notifies their decision to i.bessonmellah@gmail.com. The refund is made within a maximum of 14 days after receipt of the notification (and, where applicable, of the returned item).
8. Statutory warranties
All products benefit from the statutory guarantee of conformity (articles L217-4 et seq. of the French Consumer Code) and the guarantee against hidden defects (articles 1641 et seq. of the French Civil Code).
9. Intellectual property
Purchasing an artwork or print confers no right of reproduction or commercial exploitation. The works remain the intellectual property of the artist.
10. Personal data
The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.
11. Consumer mediation
In accordance with articles L.612-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, after sending a written complaint to Isabelle Mellah Illustrations and in the absence of an amicable settlement, the consumer may refer the matter, free of charge, to the consumer mediator to which the professional is affiliated:

The request must meet the admissibility conditions set by the French Consumer Code and by the mediator. The consumer remains free to accept or refuse the proposed solution and retains the right to bring the matter before the competent court.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These T&Cs are governed by French law. Failing an amicable resolution, any dispute shall fall within the jurisdiction of the competent French courts.
